About

Lee Ann grew up in a small town in Connecticut before earning a BFA in Advertising Design at The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. She then worked in the production department at TV Guide Magazine for 11 more years before deciding she needed a change. After completing a 3 year Herbal Apprenticeship, and putting a new plan in place, she left her cubicle and apartment in New York to pursue her dream of living in Scotland by volunteering in the Abbey kitchen on the Isle of Iona.

After returning to the states, she realized that her passion for food and helping people could not be ignored and decided to pursue health coaching and the culinary arts; earning certificates in both fields.

After Graduation she was briefly a personal chef out in the country, then returned to commercial kitchen work before landing in food retail (artisanal cheese, to be specific) at Cuban Liquor where she gets to bake bread and run the store’s social media.

Over the past couple of years Lee Ann has become involved with teaching about wellness at both The MLK Health Center and Pharmacy and The Peace of Mind Center.

LionArt Creations is the culmination of years of dreaming, hard work, following bliss, taking chances…and lots of support from special folks along the way.
